Specifications

Authentic Cordyceps sinensis strain
1. Evidence in the literature has proven that Hirsutella sinensis is the genuine asexual-phase strain of Cordyceps sinensis (Biochemical Systematics and Ecology. 2001. 29: 597¡V607).

2. The Hirsutella sinensis mycelium from Chang Gung Biotechnology has a 99.645% similarity in rDNA sequence alignment compared to the Hirsutella sinensis strain in the global gene database, and hence has been proven to be Hirsutella sinensis.

Chelation of complete trace elements
To develop healthy mycelium cells completely chelated with trace elements, we utilize specific small-molecule clustered water processed through magnetic fields and energy transfer, in conjunction with water-soluble trace elements and modern fermentation technology.

Highly-pure mycelium products free of contaminants
We use nutrient broths that are completely water-soluble to ferment mycelium without any residues of the nutrient broths. Also, we utilize a low-temperature freeze-drying technology in order to maintain the highest activity of the products.

Relative Experimental Data

rDNA Molecular Germplasm Identification
The figure below demonstrates a comparison of rDNA sequences of Cordyceps sinensis. L: Chang Gung Biotechnology Cordyceps sinensis strain; N: Natural Cordyceps sinensis; F: One of the Cordyceps sinensis strain sold on the market. The Cordyceps sinensis strain produced by our company has a 99.645% similarity with the natural Cordyceps sinensis, while the market-sold Cordyceps sinensis only shares 82.791% of similarity with the original, natural Cordyceps sinensis.

Comparison of chromatographic fingerprints:
Utilizing reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) to compare the hot-water extracts of natural Cordyceps sinensis and the Hirsutella sinensis strain isolated by our company, we find that the results are almost identical. In the chromatograms shown below, the curve labeled CSCGF corresponds to the Hirsutella sinensis mycelium fermented by our company. The curve labeled CSF represents stroma of natural Cordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies while CS indicates natural Cordyceps sinensis fruiting bodies.
