Evening Primrose is a native American plant named after its yellow flowers which blossom in the evening. Evening Primrose Oil contains gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an important precursor of the hormone-like prostaglandin E1 (PGE1), which plays active roles in regulating human physiological functions. Our Evening Primrose Oil is international quality assurance certified. We use only the highest quality oil from North America extracted by a proprietary cold-press technique, never exceeding 40¢XC.
